We are proud to celebrate a major milestone at Sydenhams Timber Engineering: the successful design, manufacture and assembly of precision timber frame systems for over 4,000 buildings across the UK!
From large-scale housing developments and essential schools to hotels and bespoke architectural projects, our work has helped shape communities and deliver more efficient, sustainable construction nationwide.
Delivering Real Environmental Impact
Choosing timber frame over traditional brick-and-block construction has made a tangible difference to the environment. Across the buildings we have constructed to date, our structural timber solutions have saved an estimated 16,000 tonnes of CO2e.
To put that massive figure into perspective, that is the equivalent of taking over 3,500 petrol cars off the road for an entire year!
Expanding Our Expertise
Reaching this milestone has been driven by continuous improvement. Over the years, we have significantly expanded our in-house design and engineering capabilities, refined our manufacturing systems and invested heavily in thermal performance and expert energy assessments.
All of these steps have been taken with one clear goal in mind: to consistently support better outcomes for our clients and the environment.
