Produced in the UK, our FinnJoist I-Beams combine high-quality OSB webs with Kerto LVL flanges (including Kerto S flanges and Kerto Q for rim boards). Designed using the advanced Finnframe package, they offer low uniform moisture content to prevent splitting, warping and twisting. They are BBA-approved, PEFC-certified and available exclusively at our Timber Centre in Wickham.
The Easi-Joist system surpasses sawn timber in span and dimensional stability. It provides a larger bearing area and a lightweight open web design that simplifies installation for carpenters, plumbers and electricians. This precision engineering saves significant time on site, improves sound and vibration performance and reduces the need for remedial work.
All our joist options are available loose for on-site installation or as pre-decked cassettes which expedite site completion. Our cassettes come with taped joints to prevent water damage and feature options for a protective peel-off film or a pre-finished waterproof deck. For smaller projects like extensions, we also supply conventional solid softwood joists.
Metal web joists provide clear open spaces within the floor structure. This allows plumbers and electricians to run pipes and cables freely without having to drill through solid wood, which saves significant time and reduces labour costs.
Floor cassettes arrive on site pre-assembled and ready to be craned into place. This eliminates the need to measure, cut and fix individual joists, providing a safe and immediately walkable working platform.
Yes. Our engineered flooring systems, particularly metal web joists, are highly compatible with underfloor heating systems and provide ample space for the necessary pipework.
