Headon Reach is a truly special location with wide views across the Western Wight, the Solent and up towards Tennyson Down. The primary challenge was designing homes to make the absolute most of this remarkable setting. The architectural vision required the creation of seven luxury, high-specification detached homes with garages that could sit comfortably within their surroundings and take full advantage of the spectacular coastal and countryside landscape around them.
Sydenhams Timber Engineering was proud to design and deliver the timber frame structures for all seven luxury homes. Working closely with Colman Cotter of Modh Design and our client J R Buckett & Sons, we utilised our extensive in-house design expertise to ensure the structural envelope perfectly supported the architectural intent.
Our precision manufacturing accommodated the high-specification design requirements with absolute accuracy. We engineered a robust structural solution that allowed the buildings to balance exceptional quality, thermal performance and a real sense of place.
The completed development successfully turns a strong architectural vision into something tangible and lasting. The precision-engineered timber frames provided the perfect foundation for these bespoke properties.
